Duties & Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Provide an advisory service to line management regarding Occupational Health, Safety Environmental and Quality.
Develop and continually improve Occupational Health, Safety Environmental and Quality systems.
Continues Performance monitoring of relates systems.
Deal with customers relation to Occupational Health, Safety Environmental and Quality.
Liaise with local authorities and certification bodies regarding Occupational Health, Safety Environmental and Quality.
Oversees internal and external training programs (Mobile, Static and Compliance)
Observe and adhere to all Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental aspects as per the Harsco Environmental Regional and Local procedures (I.e. Safety Meetings, Pre-Shift inspections etc.)
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12 (Senior Certificate)
Valid Code 8 License
Computer literate on MS Office
SAMTRAC (would be an added advantage)
1-2 Years relevant experience.
Good verbal and written communications skills
Typing skills
IT skills will be an added advantage
Because the nature of the operations an inherent job requirement for the position is that the applicant must be declared medically fit.
